The family who own our yard are selling this super pony. 14.2hh, 9 yrs, liver chestnut gelding, probably part bred welsh, BSJA passport. Sensible, hacks out and rides in the fields alone or in company. Needs a small adult or older experienced child as he is a proper showjumper and needs a rider who can sit still - he would be too forward for a novice rider, but he is always ridden in a snaffle. Has been shod in the past but really good barefoot now. Has an old scar on his right knee but its just a superficial blemish. They are looking for around £2850. Damn! OH has become quite open to the idea of a pony/small horse as a second instead of something we can both ride (don't think he's clicked that he won't be getting P all to himself though!) and had said we could go see this fella if he was still available. Ah, well, hope he's gone to a lovely home
