I have a 2nd hand pair of Easyboot epics in size 2 with comfort pads already fitted.

The back strap has been removed and the cleats have been flattened.

They are in good condition, I have pics available if anyone needs to see them, just pm me with your email address!

I'm looking for about £55 or nearest offer, plus £5 p&p.

Please get in touch asap if your interested as I have them advertised elsewhere.

Thanks Ang

Hi Ang, could very well be interested - just having the boy trimmed this afternoon and retaking measurements - he's going to be either a size 2 or 3, and we think nearer size 2.  Will get back to you later this afternoon.  Meanwhile, are you able to guesstimate how much extra cm's the boot gains by having the back strap removed, and when you say 'cleats', which bit of the boot is this?

Hi Dorisday

I've tried to measure a boot as accurately as possible for you.

From the centre of the toe to the back of the boot (end of the frog in the centre), it is just under 6" (15cm) long, just for the surface area of the foot with additional room for the heel bulbs.

As the back strap is removed, this prevents rubbing on the back of the heels.

The cleats are little metal teeth that are designed to "grip" the horses' foot, but they are un-necessary and damage the hoof wall, the newer version of the boot, does not have cleats!

Hope this helps?
Ang

Hi Ang, oh blow blow blow.  He's gone from being 135/140 to 132/132 so a perfect round foot and still only suitable for G2's.  Which look like hobnail boots on spider legs for him.  He did have long toe growth admittedly which we've been trying to get reduced and this trim was the one that did it, so lovelier hooves for him but keeping him in his clumpers instead of lovely Epics.  So sorry - SarahH (best trimmer ever!) says to hang in there as his feet still have room for big change but right now it's the G2s still.

Good luck in the selling - have you got them on Ebay?  I sold a pair of G2's for almost shop retail price so I'm sure you'll get a good price for them.

No worries, I'm sure u'll find some boots.  Have you tried the renegades, they are fab!!!!

Yeah boots are on ebay too, got a couple of bids with a lot of watchers, so I'm sure they will go.

Thanks
Ang
