Jack is 12.2 black native pony (barefoot) and he needs a nice home.
He has a lovely nature, mixes well with other horses so he'd be a good companion pony. He's a real honest little fella and forward going and so would make an excellent pony for a confident child - he needs some schooling as he's been out of work for some time.
Jack is just recovering well after bout of laminitis (never had it before as far as current owner knows). Farrier happy with his progress and Jack seems happy to gallop around when out. He's now of small diet paddock.
Jack's other problem is stiff right hind due to spavin but this has been X-rayed and joint is beginning to fuse. Exericse would improve this.
I would have kept him as companion for Jake but I would like a barefoot companion I could ride [ I think I will end up going for what Jake's previous owners did i.e. a mare and possibly a youngster.]
Owner doesnt want anything for Jack, just the knowledge that he's going to a good home. Jack was really for their grandaughter but she's lost interest in ponies.
If you are interested or would like to know more / meet Jack, please pm me.
Thanks....... I have passed his details on to a lady I trim for who has one Highland pony in need of a pal. I will pass his age on and see what she thinks..... she seemed quite interested. I have been hinting for a while that their pony needs a friend! It would be a lovely home. I'll email her but it's her office address so won't hear back until Monday probably
Can you PM your phone number to me so I can put you in touch if she's interested?
Dawn - I did get a mobile number on my work phone and wondered if it was your client. Tried to ring it a few times but no answer. Not sure if your lady still interested ?
