16 hand barefoot eventerI have for sale a really lovely 7 coming up 8 year old mare. She measures over 16.1 in her stocking feet, but she rides a little smaller than that. She's probably at least 3/4 TB (she's a bit too substantial to be a full TB and has a great thick mane and tail, but having lost her papers before I bought her we'll never really know). She's dark bay, nearly black, extremely attractive with huge eyes and stonkingly sound barefoot with glorious shaped feet. She evented barefoot at Intro (1 metre/ 3ft 3) all last season and is ready now to go Pre-novice (1m 05/ 3ft 5) She needs pre-season refresher jumping, but that's all.
She's the sweetest mare anyone could wish to own, quiet to handle, brilliant at a showground, hacks alone and in company with no problems at all and is totally traffic proof from 2 to 10 wheels of whatever size  . We haven't seen any unicycles yet  .
Tia was only bought to stand in for a horse which had spavin who I hoped to cure. Unfortunately he has had to be rehomed, and I have replaced him with a 4 year old to train up. Tia was what I could afford at this time last year and she did a brilliant job for me, never earning a single cross country penalty in spite of never having even been schooled or taught to jump before March last year. But she is much smaller than I like to ride, and that is the sole reason why she is for sale (viewers can see Jazz and Zippy for proof of this  !).
I think she is below her true price at £4000 but I am seeking a really loving home which is preferably also competitive as I think she has at least Affiliated Novice (1m 15/3ft 9) in her if not more and she does enjoy it so. Having followed her exploits on the blog, I would say she is a bargain at £4000...Have you got any action shots you can put on here, Caroline? I know she was flying with you last season
