Working with Equine Behaviour Workshop

If you have a passion to learn more in order to help your horse? If you have ever dreamt of a better relationship with your equine companion. If you need help with a problem. If you would like to increase your confidence. Or if you just want to understand your horse’s behaviour, the Working with Equine Behaviour Workshop will help you to achieve your goals.

By focusing on the practical application of the science of behaviour, course participants can learn how to safely solve problems, better understand their animal’s behaviour and enjoy a closer relationship with their equines. This workshop provides an opportunity to learn how the science of behaviour and the art of horsemanship interact to solve the challenges facing the horse owner. You will learn how to apply the rules of behaviour, safely and effectively to your own situation and find your own unique path to a better relationship with your horse.

Ben bases his approach to training on mutual trust between equine and human, using common sense and honesty to encourage people to follow their own path to training their horse. He relies on a balance of art and science to develop a long-term approach to equine training and behaviour that anyone can use, and that works with horses, donkeys or mules.

This is a two day workshop and participants are welcome to attend with or without a horse, although horse places are limited. A mixture of practical and theory taught in an informal and fun way guarantees a relaxed atmosphere for learning.
