2009 ConferenceI really enjoyed this years conference. Robert Bowker was going to be a hard act to follow from last year, but this years speakers were great and I learnt loads. Its such good value for money, especially as the food was awesome and plentiful (so much for the diet). Thanks Mel and Ross .

I also really enjoyed the conference, learnt loads and came away with lots to think about.
Well done Mel & Ross
Just one little complaint - don't think I can wait a whole year til the next one!!

It was a great meeting - well done Mel and Ross, you will be a hard act to follow, but I will do my best.
Lucy - if you think a year is too long to wait for the next one - there is one solution - lets see if you can get it first time

Okey doke, point taken Chris
It was a seriously good Conference though, my mum was really gutted she couldn't make it - so much so that when I got home I was subjected to a 2 hour grilling about it. I managed to make my escape whilst she was rummaging in the drawer for the thumbscrews

I'm glad everyone enjoyed the conference - its always great to get the chance to meet up, and the speakers, particularly Lavinia Mitchell on saddle fit and Hans on thermography were fantastic!
It was a shame the numbers were down on last year, but well done those who made the effort, and I agree, lunch was fantastic.
Next year's conference will be in Berkshire, and as you can see Chris Thompson has nobly agreed to organise it It will be a similar format probably to this year's, with a day with different speakers, plus lunch and the AGM at the end.
Looking forward to it already!

Thats only because I told you that the 14th century pub that I hope to use has won awards from CAMRA for its beer and also has good food.
This is their website http://www.birdinhand.co.uk/ in case anyone is interested.

Jo:
The pub is on the A4 at Knowl Hill and is next door to a Jeep dealership.
Where is Ian Vandanburg's yard?
Cheers
