I buy bulk, so have just re-ordered to find it now comes as "kibble" rather than "sand" (!)

I wasn't too concerned but then 2 out of 4 turned their noses up at it this morning. I tried it (as you do!) and its no where near as tasty/sweet as it was....

Anyone know what's different and if its changed the analysis? Each piece now has a dark brown,very smooth side and then a sandy side, obviously bashed up into smaller lumps.... whereas before it looked like sand, and then looked like sand when soaked. To me it actually looks mollassed now as its so dark when soaked.

Am most peeved that its changed and more so that horses don't like it and I have a huge stack of it. Grrrr.

Anyone else noticed/had issues?

I've just had a new batch and it was the same texture as normal, but Sarah had some when I was up with her for Ride Bare which had been over-done, and came out as you describe. It had a burnt sort of smell to it, and my horses also turned their noses up at it.

If I were you I'd ring Piers and get him to change it. Crying or Very sad

I got some a month ago. They have new sacks, not plastic but weaved material. Otherwise it appears the same as ever, sand like.

Thanks folks. Well I rang my supplier who spoke to Piers. Piers rang me to say there's nothing wrong with it per se, but that they changed contractor and it was slightly "overcooked". Burnt, I said (!) but he disagreed.

He was trying to convince me that although he'd had others mention it that it would be fine, but I said I was wasting ££ on my expensive supplements so he's going to let me swap it for new stuff.
