Horse for Free - Rehab projectSomeone at my yard is looking for a good home for her horse.
The horse is a gorgeous grey 17H TBX with fancy breeding for eventing. He is only 6 yr and has never done much.
He suffers from a dropped pelvis and navicular in one of his front foot so has been written off by the vets. The owner had him since he was a baby and now find she cannot afford the raised pad back shoes that need changing every 4 weeks !
The horse is fit enough to hack and tank off with his owner but the physio said his back was twisted and sore (due to the pelvis ?). Don't know if this horse will ever come right but barefoot would help his navicular and who knows about the pelvis ?
I would take him as a rehab project if I had my own place and did not have to pay for full livery. Send me a pm if you are interested and I will put in touch with the owner.
