Also a fan of Dr Cook's. I broke and rode away The Tank in one. A riding instructor refused to teach me bitless though so we used a bit for a while. I found him tense and spooky!
If anyone wishes to buy a Dr Cooks for a large horse I would advise on getting non-leather cross under straps. I found the leather ones can stretch and become uneven.
Also fan of Dr. Cooks - have an original beta version. Still going strong and seems to fit just about everything. Not leather, but lost count of the number of people fooled by it. And I have a leather fetish so it took a lot for me to buy a non leather one. But now I am glad I did. Very useful for rehabbing.
Thanks for all your lovely comments The Dr C I have is the Beta one and love it
